Tanning With the Dinair Airbrush
Tanning is no longer about lying in the sun or on the sun bed as more and more people are choosing to protect their skin against the harmful rays of the sun. In fact, many are opting for a new method that though it has been around for decades, is now becoming available to average people, even being available for home use. The Dinair Airbrush for tanning is revolutionary and is an effective way to apply a tan without a mess.
In the movie and modeling industries, tanning with an airbrush has been around for many years. It is no surprise that many women especially have looked at the flawless tanned bodies of models and wondered how on earth they were able to get their tans so even and beautiful. The reality is that these tans were sprayed on, some even being self-tanning lotions, but nonetheless, they cover the skin evenly no matter where they are applied.
The Dinair Airbrush system for tanning is called the Airbrush. The coverage is available in two shades, dark and light, but there are no odors and it dries quickly without seems or tackiness. So, what makes this tanning system so ideal? Have a look at these benefits:
applied at low pressure to avoid pooling and dripping
never clumps or gets more focussed in one area versus another
gentle
no overspray
neat
can be done anywhere
no products are wasted during spraying
Another feature of the Dinair Airbrush is that the ingredients in the tanning lotions are very natural and good for the skin. Some of the ingredients worth noting include:
purified water
glycerine for moisturizing
D Panthenol – a vitamin that moisturizes, softens and stops inflammation
Other things to know about the Dinair Airbrush tanning ingredients include how they deal with the skin and changing the skin to a beautiful tanned colour. An extract from red raspberries reacts easily with the keratin in the skin and gives a temporary, not permanent bronze colour. This color is very similar to those found after using regular suntan lotion and lying out in the sun. Lasting ten days in total, the color easily comes off with the skin and can be reapplied if needed. A secondary tanning agent, DHA, reacts the same as the extract, but takes up to forty-eight hours to develop fully. The combination of colors gives a better hue which lasts a long time, fading smoothly, whilst giving the user a more natural looking tan.
The tanning application done with the Dinair Airbrush has to be seen to be believed. Many of the women that use it cannot believe how seamless it is, able to avoid the regular bikini lines that many have to endure through regular tanning. Best of all, after only a short time, users do not have to worry about their clothes being stained as the tanning lotion used dries thoroughly and as it only reacts with the skin naturally, no residue is left behind as it found with many counter self-tanning lotions.
Sunless Tanning Products – Getting the Best Summertime Tan
Sunless tanning lotions are fantastic safe ways to get that sun kissed look this summer. Many of them have sunscreen allowing you to play it safe when you venture outdoors this season. They are relatively easy to apply, and many of them can last all day, or even up to a week or so. A sunless tan is sexy, makes your skin tone look healthier, golden, and can even make you look thinner.
It is so dangerous to just lay out in the sun and bake. Skin cancer is a serious issue, and one best avoided by simply staying out of the sun. As a kid, I would watch my beautiful Mediterranean aunt lie out in the sun with only dark tanning oil, and an album covered in aluminum foil to direct the rays of the sun to her face. She always managed to get a lot of sun, but as I got older I began to realize how really damaging the sun can be.
Not only is the sun dangerous to your skin, it can age you many years ahead of your time. Living in sunny Florida, I have seen many women with leathery faces, deep wrinkles, sunspots, and dark moles from too much sun exposure. They look at least 15 years older than their true age. Even tanning beds seem to have the same effects on people.
Even though my skin is golden in color, I stay out of the sun unless I am covered in sunscreen with a high SPF (sun protection factor). When I want to go out in a pair of shorts, or a mini skirt, I simply apply my favorite sunless tanning lotion. I love the dark golden shimmer of a fake tan, and they usually smell nice like summertime.
Apply the lotion to your face, legs, and arms, and just anywhere you want to expose a little skin. Celebrities do it all the time. The ones that take really good care of themselves have impeccable diets, drink lots of water, exercise on the regular, and stay out of the sun without protection. You can do the same, and this type of beauty regimen really pays off in helping you to keep your youthful appearance.
Many of the same companies that make regular suntan oil also manufacture sunless tanning products. So check out Fake Bake, Banana Boat, Hawaiian Tropic, and L’Oreal for their great quality, golden tanners. Be bold, try a good sunless tanning lotion or spray this summer, and get the warm summer glow that you crave
How to Fix Hair That is Damaged From Using a Flat Iron
Hair damage is always possible with frequent styling using a flat iron. The use of non-ceramic devices are often associated with different types of damages such as split ends, hair breaking, frizzy hair etc due to the overheating of the metallic plates used in their manufacture. That is why ordinary styling tools are now replaced by high quality ceramic and tourmaline models that help in fixing the problems that are otherwise caused when using a conventional flat iron. But, still you need to follow some safety tips and hair care techniques that will help in repairing your damaged hair after styling using a flat iron.
Before using, some of the most important techniques have to be employed, that includes the following:
1. Always maintain your hair clean and healthy using a shampoo and conditioner. This includes washing and conditioning with good quality shampoo and moisture-rich conditioner that are designed for nourishing dry and fragile hair. The use of leave-in conditioner will help in preserving the moisture content even after styling.
2. The next most important tip is using good heat protecting styling product such as thermal protectant creams or sprays that will act as a barrier to heat when the hot device is used on the hair. Such products are also helps in distributing heat evenly on the surface of the hair, thereby offering gentle application of the device on the hair without causing any heat damages. This will also eliminate the pulling and breaking of the hair during styling. It safeguards the hair all through the process of styling.
3. Using a hot oil treatment weekly or deep conditioning mask suited for dry and fragile hair will also help in repairing the damaged hair after styling. Hot oil treatment are inexpensive, less time consuming process that are good and also suited for all hair types.
4. Limit the use of a flat iron and other hot styling tools more often and give your hair some time for it to repair itself.

Don’t think that they would slap an organic label on the products in an effort to fool anyone — all of the products are “Certified Organic” and guaranteed to be pure.
When they first started marketing our natural product lines, many customers bought our products just because it seemed cool to say they were using something that was developed outside a laboratory. Now, as many abnormalities from chemical based products come to light; they’re getting business because our customers want products that aren’t harmful. Also of note: the products aren’t tested on animals, however, that isn’t really saying much — as our makeups, hair care products, and skincare lines would do absolutely no harm to animals, just as they won’t do any harm to you.
Upurea Pure Natural Beauty products are the real thing. I get to see what harsh chemically based hair and skincare products can do. Just because you never have outbreaks doesn’t mean the products aren’t good for you. All it means is that you’re not sensitive enough to show the harsh effects of these products. Deep down, many of these unnatural products are shedding the upper layers of your epidermis, robbing your hair of vital nutrients, and the chemicals actually enter your bloodstream, making your liver, kidneys and heart work harder than they have to. Eating natural foods, and using natural beauty products is something you have to do.
Even if a doctor wasn’t telling you to use natural products: It’s something that we’re all being made aware of by the media every day. You may think that the chemicals can’t get into your body you swallow, or inhale something. The truth is the bad things can penetrate your skin just as easily. Why rub something dangerous in your hair, or on your skin? Look at the Upurea Pure Natural Beauty website today, and by all means — order something that’s good for you. Your body will thank you.
e.l.f. Cosmetics Review
Everyone should come check out e.l.f. Cosmetics, they are an awesome online discount make-up store, they spend less money on packaging, but maintain designer quality standards.I have taken the liberty to sample a few of their products, so everyone can get an idea what they have to offer.
* Shielding Gloss infused with SPF 15 – This this is a wonderfully scented gloss that many of you may find a tad sticky. I personally found it too sticky to be comfortable, while my sister just loves smacking her lips together with this stuff on.
* Therapeutic Conditioning Balm – There isn’t much I can say about this stuff. It smells really yummy, but it comes off really easily. It doesn’t cost very much, but won’t be something I’ll order again any time soon either. Sorry e.l.f. Cosmetics, not a winner for me.
* Color Protection Nail Lacquer – I was looking for something that was all natural, to put on my hand and toe nails, that would last a long time. For a little over a $1, this stuff delivered protection, particularly on my toes for close to a month. This lacquer kept the nail polish well protected, during my beach season.
* Wet Gloss Lash and Brow Clear Mascara – This is one of my mothers favorite e.l.f. Cosmetics products. She’s a thrifty gal and is always on the hunt for the best deals she can find. This product will give your lashes and brows an all-day wet appearance. Think of it as looking like you just got out of the shower all day. This stuff really gives you a different look, and not in a bad or made up kind of way.
* Shine Eraser Blotting Tissues – Each package comes with 50 thin sheets which clean oil off your face. I loved the way this e.l.f. Cosmetics product made my face feel. At first, I expected that after the cool sensation they gave me, I would soon be stricken with dry skin in that area — but my face stayed cool without any drying for the entire day. Truth be told, you would pay more for over-the-counter Noxzema products.
* Natural Radiance Blush – This little blusher is all natural. It’s has a silky feel and blends really well. It does need to be put on with laser precision, due to the ultra-small applicator, however that worked to my advantage most of the time. This blush also last my full work day, with no signs of letting up.
* Brow Comb & Brush – I would have to call this a profession series brush, with non professional pricing. This ergonomically-designed brush is a must for anyone, and kudos to e.l.f. Cosmetics for offering it up at discounted prices. Scott Vincent Barba is the designer.
* Mini Cosmetics Bag – The striped designer bag held all of my brushes, cosmetics, and other nick-knacks. It has a double-sided design featuring two zippers. This little gem from e.l.f. Cosmetics is free, so I’ll try not to be too critical. To say the least the zippers don’t work very well, but the material appears to be strong.
What Are Parabens?
We have all heard about parabens and that we should avoid cosmetics that contain them. I find that most of my clients ask what products are “paraben free” but don’t actually know what they are and why they should avoid them.
Parabens are a group of Chemical compounds which are widely used as preservatives, especially in cosmetics, Pharmaceuticals and even some foods. Parabens have been a topic of controversy for some time, due to concerns about their link with cancer.
The problem with parabens is their potential to act like estrogen compounds in the body, estrogens are known to affect the endocrine system and potentially increase the risk of cancer (especially breast cancer).
A mixture of parabens may be used in products and there use is to act as a preservative, ensuring that molds, bacteria, and other unwanted visitors will not contaminate a product. They can be found in shampoos, moisturisers, shaving gels, cleansers, deodorants, personal lubricants, pharmaceuticals and toothpaste. Typically, the concentration of parabens in cosmetics is very low, often less than 1%. However most people do not want to risk even the smallest concentration. It is possible to use naturally derived preservatives such as grape seed extract and many cosmetic company’s are now avoiding the use of these chemical preservatives.
I personally try to avoid them, I always use “paraben free” deodorant and would never use products containing them on my children as they have not been round long enough to know what the effects may be on the growth of children. It is your decision if you choose to use cosmetic with or without parabens but now you may have a little more of an idea about what they actually are and the potential health risks.
Imbibing the Tome of Beauty Secrets in Beauty Schools
Everyone would like to remain healthy and beautiful. To say that many people spend a third of their lives beautifying themselves in various salons, parlours, and spas is sufficient enough to know that beauty schools are popular. Many graduates opt for entering beauty schools in the hope that it would help them to set up a career in cosmetics or any other related areas quite successfully. For the intrepid student the beauty schools are just a place where they can hone their talents. Once they get the degree and certification they are able to practice as interns anywhere in reputed salons or with professionals.
Eventually they all want to opt for their own place in the sun. Primary reason is that they are confident of their skills, experience and have earned compliments and clients too. So to embark on a career on their own is the next best and natural step. These are some important reasons why many students aim to have their own salons in their areas. They know that they are likely to earn more money when they are in business. The demand for such individual professionals is absorbed in the fashion industry, glamour magazine industry, beauty pageants. Some prefer to remain out of glamour and only cater to ordinary women who come to parlours to beautify themselves.
To say that all young interns manage to have their own is also a myth. Some manage to stay afloat for a year or two and then they want to get back to their jobs as they cannot cope up with the additional work. It happens to some but most of the other students are confident of pulling their businesses through. Hence the beauty schools that teach various courses are important institutions. Here new trends are accepted and taught in a disciplined way. Students can chose their own calling and what will interest them the most.
At beauty schools the students are first taught the art of understanding beauty from different perspectives. Unless the student understands the concept of beauty how will they be able to make their clients beautiful? Various courses are taught to learn processes of beauty. A pedicure and manicure is simply not washing the feet and hands and filing nails. The process is more holistic and involves the entire understanding of making the hands and feet clean and transforming them into beautiful limbs. They are taught to differentiate between natural and enhanced beauty procedures.
